About me
I am a long-time wooden boat enthusiast with a passion for small boats and bad ideas. During the day, I am the Executive Director for the Maritime Heritage Alliance in Traverse City, MI. A small non-profit that connects people to great lakes maritime history by getting out on the water on our 1845 Schooner, Madeline, or our Concordia Cutter, Champion. My “vacations” are usually built around adventure races or unique sailing opportunities. I crewed on the Draken Harald Harfagre in 2016 and 2018, which has led me down the path of planning adventures as the “UnSalted Nuts” team Captain. From Tanzania to Alaska, we’ve had some grand adventures and are planning more.
