About me
Diane Walton, President of the Dolphin Swimming & Boating Foundation, and Membership Director of the San Francisco Master Mariners, keeps two wooden sailboats at the Berkeley Marina — Gerda, a 25' Spitzgatter built in the late 30's by the grace of Auge Uzon, and a 38' Ingrid, China Rose, built in the late 70s by Peter Minkwitz and friends in San Francisco. She also has the extraordinary good fortune to row out of the Dolphin Club in San Francisco, where her favorite boat is the Sid Foster, built in 1948.
