My task is to help create a community of people who care about reducing carbon in the Inside Passage marine ecosystem.

I organize monthly Decarbonizer Gatherings for people who run businesses, organizations and boats and are interested in decarbonizing their vessels and communities. Featured Decarbonizers talk about "how they did it." We share tips and resources, explain ideas, and field questions about alternative fuels, electric, solar, wind, mechanical, and structural. You name it - we'll try to find answers and share it widely.
I am also the first mate on Ama Natura, a 36’ “green” motor sailor.
